The International Conference on Health, Wellness, & Society is pleased to offer delegates a selection of optional activities to help enhance the conference experience. Pre-Conference Tour

The Health, Wellness & Society Conference is pleased to offer the following pre-conference tour to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Join other conference delegates and plenary speakers on a private 8 hour guided tour of The Rocky Mountain National Park.

Tour Description

The Rocky Mountain National Park is renowned for its scenery, peaks, alpine lakes wilderness, and wildlife including elk, deer, moose, black bear, eagles, and much more. Depending on weather drive up to the highest point at 12,183 feet!

Along the way you will pass historic towns and beautiful landscapes from Denver through Boulder, Lyons, Estes Park and then into the park. We will see Colorado's famous continental divide - rivers and streams west of the divide flow to the Pacific Ocean and east of the divide to the Gulf of Mexico.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch (or inside, depending on weather) and visit the Stanley Hotel, a beautiful historic building, famous for its inspiration of the book and movie, "The Shining."

What do I bring for my tour?
  • Light hiking shoes or sneakers with good tread is best
  • Camera
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses and hat
  • Wear layers so that you can shed them if you are hot and bundle up if you are cold
  • Bring at least one bottle of water per person. We will supply some water but you may need more. Colorado is a very dry state and altitude can amplify hydration needs.

Conference Welcome Reception and Poster Session

The International Conference on Health, Wellness & Society is pleased to announce the Conference Welcome Reception and Poster Session.

Common Ground Research Networks and the Health, Wellness & Society Conference will be hosting a welcome reception at the conference venue, the University of Denver, just after the last session of the first day. All delegates are welcome to attend and enjoy complimentary light refreshments as well as the Poster Session. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with and get to know your fellow international delegates while looking over the work of your colleagues.

Denver Walking Micro Brew Tour

Join other conference delegates on this four hour private tour of Denver while sampling local micro-brews.

Tour Description

Denver is one of the best beer cities in the country. Meet some local brewers who are masters of their trade, learn more about their passion, and try some of their delicious beer they have specifically hand picked for you. In addition, experience some of Denver's trendiest neighborhoods and feel the entrepreneurial vibe of the city as our private guide navigates us through Denver's many diverse neighborhoods.

Taste a variety of different brews and discover your own taste for beer. Additionally we will explore the famous RiNo Art District.
