Ixtlilxochitl Flores Fong is a distinguished nutritionist, educator, and public health leader. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from Universidad del Valle de México and a Bachelor’s in Nutrition from the University Center for Health Sciences, University of Guadalajara. A Certified Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Lactation Consultant, she brings deep clinical and academic expertise.
Currently, she coordinates the Bachelor’s Program in Nutrition at CUCS and serves as President of the Jalisco Chapter of the Mexican College of Nutritionists. She has led program accreditation, curriculum innovation, and the creation of trimester-based nutrition programs at UTEG University Center.
Passionate about community health, Ixtlilxochitl spearheads UTEG’s Healthy Institution initiative, the Comprehensive Lactation Program, and is founder of SANE Nutrition (Health, Food, Nutrition, and Education A.C.). She has also helped establish institutional lactation rooms across Jalisco, reflecting her commitment to advancing nutrition, health, and education.
