Celina Wille is Associate Professor in the Applied Sciences, Technology and Education Department at Utah State University and also Latino Programs Specialist for the university’s Extension program. In Extension, among other assignments, Celina oversees all Create Better Health programming directed to Latino audiences, ensuring program materials are accessible and culturally appropriate. Dr. Wille has worked for over 25 years on various management, teaching, outreach, research and capacity-building roles at Land Grant institutions such as Texas A &M University, Michigan State University and Utah State University where she has taught courses internationally on civic engagement and extension education. She has managed USAID development and training initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, and was a technical consultant for food security projects in Central America focused on agricultural and nutrition education and their impacts on health and wellbeing. Celina is actively engaged in her community often serving on the boards of various non-profit organizations and as a volunteer.
