Michael Strange in Reader in International Relations in the Department for Global Political Studies, Malmö University. Since 2019 he led the Precision Health & Everyday Democracy (PHED) project for Malmö, as well as the PHED Commission on the Future of Healthcare Post COVID-19. He is regularly invited as an expert on the politics of healthcare and health equity, including in relationship to AI and digital technologies. He works with multiple stakeholders, including local government, civil society, and the private sector. His focus is on connecting diverse stakeholders towards better understanding the politics of digital healthcare towards health equity. He has twice been invited to Chatham House Roundtables, as well as the UK Parliament, and local government in Sweden.
