Elisabeth Mangrio is an associate professor at Care Science, Malmö University as well as a researcher at MIM, Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare. She is currently conducting both qualitative and quantitative research regarding newly arrived migrants and their health situation after arrival in Sweden. This research covers aspects of how well Sweden manages to integrate migrants and to what extent they have access to employment after the establishment process in Sweden. She is currently also a research leader for Grow Safely, an extended home-visit program within the child health care in Scania.
