Pre-Conference Tour: Albayzin Walking Tour
The Health, Wellness & Society Conference is pleased to offer the following pre-conference tour.
"Granada is a city with two hills facing each other. One, of the royalty, the Nasrid family, the other of the ordinary people with their small stories and humble lives. On this visit, we will walk through this neighborhood as a large network of houses, each one with its own peculiar stories. A visit to talk about the common people, and the legends of the neighborhood and enjoy its breathtaking views of the Alhambra. The Albayzin is full of little treasures and stories waiting to be discovered. We will walk through Plaza Nueva and Plaza Larga, Carrera del Darro (perhaps the most beautiful street in the city, next to the river), and see its ancient walls and gates. But above all, we will enjoy "getting lost" in this jewel of the world heritage that is the Albayzin neighborhood."

Note: It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes because the tour includes uphill climbs. The Alhambra monument is not included in the tour.
